Dr. Gina M. Benaquista DeSipio

Dr. DeSipio offers Osteopathy and NeuroRehabilitation Medicine in her private practice. She treats acute and chronic injuries and neurological conditions in children and adults with a special focus on osteopathic manipulative medicine for the sequelae of spinal cord injury trauma and disease (including cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease), brain injury/concussion, stroke, musculoskeletal injury and disease, and complicated medical illness.

She honors the presence and capacity of health inside all human beings, though its expression may seem obscured in states of disease, injury, or trauma.  Identifying and bearing witness to the root cause of symptoms and dis-ease is a process of receptive curiosity that assists in metabolizing and reuniting fragmented parts of a whole being.   The healing process gives rise to thriving, whereby the expression of health emanates freely and harmonically in truth and love from a human‘s integrated wholeness and alignment of body, mind, and spirit.  With an interest in the emotional, spiritual, and relational aspects of health and disease, Dr. DeSipio may include breathwork, movement, mindfulness practices, and interpersonal work into her treatment plan.

Dr. DeSipio is a licensed physician in the state of Pennsylvania and Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Spinal Cord Injury Medicine, and Brain Injury Medicine through The American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is trained in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and certified in Cranial Osteopathy through the Cranial Academy.
